Giving Blood for Randall Ingram
January 9, 2009 by lynda · Leave a Comment
My good friend Randall Ingram was diagnosed with Leukemia a few months back.
We believe he is healed in Jesus name!
I recently donated blood platelets the other day for Randall. I realized when I sat down that all four people in the room were there to donate for the same person, my friend Randall! Randall sure does have a lot of family and friends that love and care about him! What a blessing.
God revealed to me the power of blood while I was there! Now I know that Jesus shed is precious blood for the us. But it hit me like a ton of bricks while I was sitting in that chair to donate because;
*
The blood of Jesus is the foundation of redemption. Jesus Christ died on the cross, shedding His blood, (and was then resurrected) as the only acceptable payment for our sins. The disciple Peter wrote in 1 Peter 1:18-19, “For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And the ransom he paid was not mere gold or silver. He paid for you with the precious lifeblood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.” The Blood of Jesus Christ is absolutely the most precious thing God has offered us.
* Leukemia is cancer of the blood.
* We can donate “good” blood to help others.
When I put this video together I was listening to a song called “Beautiful the Blood”
And I’ve got to be honest…it messed me up!
I thought blood was important, but whoa!
So please check out this video and be grateful for the blessings in your life.
Thank God for them.
Focus on your PURPOSE, not your circumstances!
Find somebody to help when you can. It’s therapeutic.
I call you blessed!

Giving blood was easy and fun, as you can see in the video, we had a blast! I want to thank all the kind staff at Atlanta Blood Services. They were the best!
So give blood! Give life!
